Grim reapers
Just take and never give.
No smiles or 'thank yous'.
That's what you find in a church.
Even a homeless man will wink.
A prostitute says hello.
AND have a nice day.
When a crackhead begs for money
It's a prayer for your love.
Yet you keep your noses high
Not a single glance their way.
And you wonder why God doesn't hear your prayers.
You don't know hunger like I do.
You don't feel the pain I feel.
You don't love.
At all.
That's the problem.
So quick to judge.
We all have our pasts.
